Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

What we never collect

We never ask for or store your A-number, receipt numbers, immigration status, criminal history or your answers to Form N-400. Please do not type them into the app.

What we collect

If you create an account: your email and the name you choose. Your study progress (which questions you answered and your scores), your settings (language, state, interview date, exemption type) and your purchase status. Basic, privacy-friendly usage statistics without your name or email.

Your voice

In the AI interview, your recording is sent to our speech provider to turn it into text and is not stored after that. The text of a session is kept only to show you the summary.

Without an account

You can take the free test without an account. Your progress then stays on your device.

Who helps us

We use trusted providers to run CitizenAce: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Clerk (sign-in), Stripe and Apple with RevenueCat (payments), PostHog (usage statistics), Anthropic (AI officer), ElevenLabs (voice), OpenAI or Deepgram (speech to text) and Resend (email). They process data only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can see, correct or delete your data and close your account. Write to hello@citizenace.com and we will answer within 30 days. You can turn off reminder emails at any time.

Children

CitizenAce is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you in the app or by email.
